For an area whose connectivity was created outside Auto-Splice (QGIS/GPKG import, direct NGW edits) -- splice_editor.html only shows equipment with a saved layout position, so those areas render blank until this runs once. Safe to re-run any time; it fully rebuilds the area's layout entries.
